I will promise that my first 928 was in worse shape than that one.

Rixter,
I spoke with the owner earlier today.
He is convinced the mileage is original.
No details on the door or rear post so cannot confirm the color or who imported it.
Cloth seats.
He wants $2k and if he does not get it he will repair it himself and have it as good as new for $1k.
He did not sound as if he had been drinking!!!!

Nah, it's gonna cost him at least $1100.00 to get it back to like new condition.

My paint guy could fix that. Who doesn't love the green interior, the seats, the green leather dash. Somebody here could turn that thing into one of the coolest ob's anywhere....

Pretty cool. The color combo is awesome. The leather dash + cloth center seats combo is interesting. $2k for it is insane.

Did you know that three years ago I discovered a dead 928 burried up to its axles in mud in a junkyard in Orlando?

-I discovered that this badly battered car had a perfect, uncracked pod! Said pod now resides in my '85 S2, and the yard was stupid enough to sell it to me for $40. The only catch: I had to beat the 3 foot-long rattlesnake who was living in the passenger footwell with a piece of side trim I tore off of a Volvo before I felt comfortable pulling the good pod. I kind of felt like Mad Max that day, and I pretty much looked like him when I got home. The things we do for love....

That snake-infested car looked **better** than the car in that picture!
