Thanks Mark for posting this here, I didn't notice that there was thread on this.
The place he is talking about is 2000 Stevenson Boulevard(It is about where Stevenson intersects with Guardino) This is in Fremont. My phone # is (609) 933-5680. If it is on anybodys way here just give me a call.

Thanks,

Klim

Hi Klim:

We'll try our best to accommodate everyone. A few have indicated that they might not be able to come, so I'm pretty sure we'll have slots available. Worst case I'll give you my slot.

What time will you arrive in Fremont?Anders and I want to be at the karting place early, so we'd need you to arrive by about 6:15PM in order to pick you up. Is that possible from your end?

Anders just called me now. I am very content with 6:15. So, meet you near the police station at 18:15.

Thanks a lot,

Klim

That was a fun event! Between the 928ers, 944ers and open road racers, we had 20 people driving in two sessions. Anders once again was the fastest Swedish driver on the track. But he was not far behind his master. It was very exciting to watach the fast group, including Dennis and Mark Kibort. I wish I could drive like these guys!!!

After the sessions we headed for Pizza at a nearby place called Pizza depot. We ordered 5 large pizzas, and some pitchers of fluid, and had some great discussions going. It was around 11PM when we split; heavy rain outside.

Pictures were taken with Brian's (IcemanG17) digital camera - maybe we'll see some posted here later.

Overall, this was a very nice and fun event. I hope we can do it again soon!

Nicole
I have only a couple pics....my camera doesn't work very well on the action shots! I'll post them later today! I think Dennis got some pics too (much better camera)

It was ALOT of fun...I haven't karted in a while....30 minutes straight in a kart....damm thats a workout! Sure can feel it this morning! I was able to get my laptimes better by the end of the session...but it sure sucked getting lapped (over and over again) by all the top drivers!

It was also fun watching the second group....especially the "just a bit to sideways....BLAMMO...wall" part that everyone did at some point! There will be some sore ribs today!

Of course its not a 928 gathering without a bunch of rain soaked burnouts!!!!! Three guesses who the culprit was? :>)

Too bad I missed out. Sounds like a lot of fun. My computer is now healthy, but my shark is in the garage, *** in the air, with the fuel tank sitting on the ground...

Thanks to Nicole for all the legwork setting this event up and to Anders for the suggestion and follow-up!

The new course layout threw me and I never quite figured out the line, although following Anders as he drifted full throttle and countersteered through the pit turn helped me figure that one out.

Thanks again for all the fun, and Nicole, I'm glad you alerted me to the turn onto Fremont on the way home. I was clueless and would have ended up in Union City somewhere before I figured out where I was. Ride home wasn't bad, although the rain later in the night was horrendous.

Thanks Nicole for organizing! Had a great time. I need to get down there to practice some more. Now for some pics. Lighting conditions were the worst possible for speed shots but I at least got a few thanks to Steve B lending me his killer lens.

Nicole, Thank you for reserving LeMan's and researching Pizzarias. Also, thanks to Anders for suggesting this get together. Looks like Gerry is on the mend from stacking it into the pit tire wall. I also, still don't know what Anders meant by Pizza's in a Pan... Thanks Dennis for the great Pic's! Too bad I left my camera in the locker-room or I could of taken some pictures of the first session to post. Happy New Years and Be Safe!

Good to see everyone! I had a great time. Nicole, thanks for organizing the event. Anders, good to see you again -- I'll let you know if any of your speeding tickets catches up!

So, when are we karting next?
