Bump for some info / pics of the S4 throttle bracket mounts. DR or Keel mount brackets!

Looking for info and pics of the S4 throttle quadrant mount bracket and throttle cable routing?

See pics...arrows to the S3 t-quadrant and SC t-cable to the t-body. Arrows to the S4 quadrant and SC t-cable to the t-body. What holds the S4 quadrant in place??

I can use the additional space up front and the S4 setup looks cleaner to me. Not to mention the throttle pedal stiffness.

I had thought about going through the right side inner fender, but I have my Air/Oil separator in that space, as well as the intercooler pump and plumbing. (below)

I looked at modifying the 928 Motosports radiator cover air-filter and housing, but Carl's being oblique about it.

I'd appreciate any pictures of other installations.
Not a twinscrew SC set up, but this is where I relocated the air filter for my Murf centrifugal SC. The flex hose enters the engine compartment beside/under the radiator. This routing looks like it would go around everything you have mounted in there.

Can you show a couple of pics of the engine compartment?

Darien, I was looking through some of my pics and I saw these two that somewhat show the throttle quadrants. This weekend I'll try to get a good pic of mine. Of course it's not on the engine. I left it in the engine bay when I pulled the motor.

Andrew Olson's DR set-up.

Here's one from earlier in this thread, I'm rereading it again in prep for my SC install.
I did reinstall of Ancor MM's last night (they are about 10mm shorter than the Volvo's) to gain some clearance for the headers (to close to the TT cross brace on right side).

I have three things yet to work out:

1. PCV ventilation/oil fill (I have the stock Andy Keel plate with the 1/2 " 90), I see where Bill B. changed it to a 1")
2. Manifold gasket, also considering using studs
3. Fuel Pressure regulation (the BEGI?) or an S4 regulator?
24# or 30# injectors(and tune them down)?

My goal is not to go inter cooled this summer, just get it running.

Dave given the amount of work involved in removing it all to install the intercooler, I would install it now, even if you don't plumb it all the way and hook it up. Save you some hours down the road.

I would go for S4 regulator and the 30# personally. (+ Shark Tuner) What came out of the car the system was installed on? I have a set if you need/want.

Hi Chris, well the story is the inter cooler was discoed when I bought the car (internally leaking??) and the car was running good with stock 24# injectors and a with a stock regulator(280-160-215) the BEGI was in a box of parts. The S4 reg P# IIRC is 280-160-297

I need to pressure test the inter-cooler (should not need to hold much pressure, 5lbs to leak test?) and also see what others here have noted the in/out pipes have no lip on them to securely hold a hose.

I have 7 of 8 30# injectors (red top) in a bag, one was missing and no longer have 8 24# as I use one I had to replace a leaking one on the car I restored back to stock.

So I would like to do the 30# ers and Shark Tune as you suggest but am shy one

Now that the Pizza car is back to stock and is hopefully in it's new home, I'm concentrating on the SC install each day after work. The Pan gasket, MM's and Headers were first, I also had to exchange the Washer Tanks between the cars as one was modded for the Inter-cooler pump.

Today's plan is to resolve the Header clearance issue, get the X pipe installed to the Magnaflows and get her off the stands.
Is it possible to bolt headers on wrong?
There are two sets of holes but it looks to me like i used the same set on both sides, however one side was and still a bit tight to the underside.

I'll take some pic's from under in a bit.
Thanks Chris, I can't wait to get this one running even at low boost

With Colin Jensan's help I installed these #61 injectors into my AK autorotor kit manifold using these bushings. Also employed his vacuum pump PCV system. Shark-tuned now @ 8 psi, and ready to roll.

This is the airbox that attaches to the intake of the supercharger with the inlet at the bottom.

Here is the airbox attached to the front of the SC.

Here's a couple shots looking up at the airbox from below the engine compartment. Taken from just in front of the AC compressor. Sorry for the poor quality. My cell camera is crap.

This shot shows where the flex hose comes out of the fender well under the radiator and connects to the pipe leading up to the airbox.

Thanks for the pics guys!! I think that I can mount a bracket to the fuel rail (I'm calling it "shroud"). See pic.... It's rigid enough and will make for a good mount location.

Damn, 61# injectors! Never seen or heard of anyone running that much injector at that low of boost. Is there a drawing for those injector bushings out there? I kind of wished I had gone with the later style injector as there are LOTS more options out there.
