Nah Andrew, I say you have it, keep it since it goes with the tradition of the Fatherland these great cars come from.... just add the english version to your collection at some point so ya know what exactly it is they're saying.

Way to go Andrew! You beat me out on that one.

Signed by Fuhrmann, very nice.

I would really like to have an English version.

BTW Paul, I received mine and it looks positively GORGEOUS!

Now I need to find some sort of protective sleeve to protect the hard case...

Hey Pewter,

Maybe it's Ernst Fuhrmann in that autograph? Looks like it.

Thanks Dave,

the funny thing is that since I've made that case, when I show off the book, nobody seems to question it's value. You whip it out of the case and it actually looks as expensive as it actually is

$300 for the book?? thats 10x what it sold for new. How about this, Ill sell the autographed by derek bell, and driven by Al Holbert , 1st 928 off the assembly line, for 10x its retail price back in 87. Actually, ill sell it for sticker price in 1987!! hows that for a deal. and you get the real McCoy

I scored a 1st edition several years ago.
Not to upset anyone, but it was brand new! I removed the plastic wrap after taking it out of the cardboard box. All this for $100.00!
I almost didn't want to open the plastic, but it's a book that needed to be read.
