What Bill said - start there. On a GTS everything you need is indeed under the passenger seat (LHD).
The power for the Keyless Entry probably comes from somewhere else... quite likely the amplifier supply - did you remove the amplifier or its fuse?

I am forever grateful to Alan for his wonderful work installing the system on my GTS. I recently finally got the rear hatch to properly open and it also is now working with the remote that Alan installed. Love it!
