Sigla windshield $198.00 installed
From a previous thread abbzer0 wrote he had his windshield replaced by Triumph Auto Glass for $198.00. I called them in Columbus Ohio and they had only one 928 windshield in their warehouse. They came out to the shop that is dping the SC install and installed a Sigla windshield for $198.00. It doesn't have the in windshield antenna so I'll do an aftermarket.

That’s an excellent price! What kind of SC are you installing?

I am having the 3rd front glass done in 3 months, yes, that's correct, 3rd in 3 mos.. The installer is billing my Ins. Co. $1600 for the glass and labor.. however, it's the antenna in window glass, and I have a $100 deductible on my glass coverage..
$200 is a supersteal....!

you're lucky chief... the dealer charges $900 for the glass, they gave it to me for around $800 (of course insurance payed and installed)... still $200... for an original Sigla... it is a steal. Also note that all the new glass from Porsche/Sigla for 928 has the antenna. Antenna-less is no longer available

Availability of glass seems to come and go, prices high, then prices low, but like most things on a 928, what you need to find is somebody with 928 experience and a track record of doing a good job.
I think about a month ago prosource posted on Pelican that they had 2 antenna windsheilds. I don't recall thinking they were inexpensive, but not dealer expensive. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/7341319-post1.html
