Default GTS prices!

Anyone else out there looking for a GTS?

Willhoit Enterprises has a 94 black/tan, auto, with 15K for $58,500. They also have a 95 black/grey, with 11K coming in soon for $66,500.

Do these prices seem high to you?

Has anyone had any experience with http://www.porscheclassified.com/ ? They have quite a few listed in there and the prices don't seem so bad.

I sure would like to have a nice GTS, but I don't know about spending $60K.

Not high at all compared to what I paid for my 1995 GTS.

People are starting to recognize that the GTS cars are rare, maintainable (vs. repairable), and starting to appreciate.

Mike is never the 'low price leader' - however, I don't know anyone who has had a terrible experience with him. (I'm sure somebody probably has, but I haven't heard about it yet...)
The guys I know that have bought from him are more concerned with clean than price. Shop around, I'm sure you can find a good deal out there somewhere.

Realistically, how many 11K mile cars are still out there? It's the old supply and demand thing - when people are paying $140K+ for old Vettes, it's not about the value of the car vis-a-vis the stuff on the showroom floor, it's all about what folks want to own.

This says it all..."it's all about what folks want to own." There is no such thing as a "market value" , what is the Mona Lisa "worth" ?

The market controls the price. If there were more GTSs and fewer people chasing them with big wallets, they wouldn't cost so much. Willhoit seems to have the best of the best, and apparently there are people out there willing to pay his prices to get them.

I have my theories but I dont know how this guy does it consistantly. Always low mileage.

I guess another issue is what do they sell for vs his asking prices.

Tony if one had a low milage car and wished to sell it they might just see the E-bay adds and CALL Him ! especially if they have been low balled by local dealers and see him asking so much more for his.

Premier Sportscar is in MS too, and they have had quite a few minty 928's over the years.

I just got off the phone with Kim at http://www.porscheclassified.com/ Very nice guy. He says he'll look around for something for me.

I'm really leaning towards the GTS instead of fixing up my 89. At least tonight anyway. I've even got the wife agreeing to it! WaaaHooooooo!!!!!

The only sad part is that I'll have to sell my SL600.

Topic is misleading. Should read: "Wilhoit Prices".

Kim tried to steal a GTS I was selling some time ago. Told me I'd never get what I was asking. Sold it in a week for NEAR my asking price! Thinks he knows what the market is but, really doesn't. Unless of course it was negotiating on his part. Probably still has my old GTS on his site! He came off as uniformed, belligerent and slimy.

Yep. Ad is still there: GTS

Instead of saying he came off as "uniformed" I think he would better be described as a "arrogant belligerent know it all." Trying to tell me what my GTS was worth! I don't friggin think so........... Bet most of the 928 GTS ads on his site are at least a year old. Mine is!

Just my .02 but I don't understand the GTS fascination. I finally saw 3 in person at the boston shark party. The rear bulge is tough to notice in person and these fine examples did not stand out anymore than a fine S4, euro, whatever.

I have seen a couple low mile S4's in mint condition for sale in the last couple years that would be just as nice to own and leave your pocket a lot fuller. If a little power difference is the problem give DR a call.
