I could be wrong, but a problem with both the MSDS 2V and 4V headers is that the flanges are not always welded in the same orientation, as in twisted a bit on the collector end. I have MSDS for my 78 engine, and infact have my old 18 MSDS crossover and 2.5 dual exhaust - the x-over does not line up as it did previously - I will have to cut off the diamond flanges and reweld them in the correct orientation. Because of this I was looking the 928spec system. It could make my life easier.
Even more, as I'm sure were aware, the MSDS for the 32V come together in a V shape into the rest of the exhaust and the 16V MSDS headers go back STRAIGHT - no convergence in the collectors.

IF you are talking about the rotational orientation of the 3 hole header collector flanges it is never an issue with us because we have always used "floating" collector flanges on the exhaust side. In other words they can be rotated to any "clockwise" orientation to match up with the orientation of the welded on header collector flanges. If you are talking about the "exit angle" of the flange then it could be an issue.
I will say that there is certainly some variances in the manufacturing of the MSDS headers over the years as I have taken welded up systems that bolt perfectly on one 16v 928 that did not fit perfectly on another 16v. This is part of the hurtle we are trying to address.

Correct, there will probably have to be 2 versions, unless my guy can come up with a magic solution.
HOWEVER, if you just want our custom crossover section, that can also be arranged. To be honest we have to have these made in large quantities so I will be happy to sell you just the Stainless crossover sections separately to help offset the quantity issue.

When I get the car together and the headers are installed I will call you. These will be the straight kind of collectors... I would need the dual 2.5 inch back as well. 
X into the dual 2.5.
Honestly, I HAVE all of the pieces needed to do the exhaust already, but the system was welded together, uh, in a dark alley somewhere. So the welds are... suspect. Even the X-over may be unrepairable. I had a dual with no cats no muffler until a dual in dual out spintech in the rear postion. Very loud and boomy I thought.
