Maybe meet somewhere on Woodward. They won't let us park at the Four Greenfields lot, but there's plenty of places along there. Woodward has a lot of crusiers on Sat night.

YES!!!! LET'S CRUISE WOODWARD! Our 13 & Woodward meeting spot is actually used by other cars when we're not there. Imagine the audacity of that! Last weekend there were about 25 Vettes, 10 TransAms and a variety of other rides. I was the only Porsche there....but I got some attention. Being different is good

I can't remember if when you cross the bridge to the US if you can stop at a duty free store. If you can, I really could go for a bottle of silver lable Jack Daniels. They only sell that lable at the duty free stores. If you have the chance and it is under $45. USD please pick a bottle up when you cross over. If you don't get the chance, its is no big deal. Looking forward to seeing you Saturday.

Crap, it's looking like 80% chance of thunderstorms tomorrow

 

Who else is bringing their children? I've got a 7, 5 and 3 year old (all boys) and I'm curious if they'll have anyone else to play with.

Also, about Saturday night (tonight) I'll probably catch up to anyone heading out to Woodward late. We have a barbeque at a friend's house that may run into the evening.

I am expecting Bill to show up at my place around 5pm. He said that he is going to be ready to drink beer. Also there was a clasic car cruise out here today. I think that there may be a group of them at Bakers on Milford rd tonight. I talked to Dennis and told him to bring Sue out here and we would have dogs, beans and beer. and maybe a ride over to Bakers.
I will be bringing my boy and maybe his friend tomorrow. I am sure that he will play with your kids. Bill will be bringing his boy to but he may be trying to get to the beer since he is 20.

I was going to venture out to Woodward tonight but my fuel pump quit. The car was idling in the garage on ramps (checking alternator voltages) and the car stalled. I couldn't get it started again and the gauge on the fuel rail showed no pressure. I jumped the rely and still nothing. I took the pump off and it clicks, but won't spin. Looks like we will be driving the truck to the event tomorrow.

 

Ouch! Sorry you're having trouble. Sounds like you have it pinned down.

I was was on Woodward for a while tonight. There's was some fine machinery out there! I was surprised at the number of Cobras, 5 (60s style) and Vipers. I counted 7 different Vipers.
1 Farrari, 2 Lotus, couple nice Austin Healeys, one Jensen Healey. one Rolls Royce, several T buckets and a few ******. All in addition to the thousand or so Detroit muscle machines.
Spent some time with a few 911 folk, one 944 one Carrera S. No other sharks though., bummer.
