pic of wild Swiss 928 on Italian autostrada
Just got back from Italy, which I drove from south to north, every mile of which I wished to be in the 928!
Anyway, here's a quick in-motion pic of an S model shark with a pretty wild paint job. Sorry for the sole snapshot, but I was struggling to get close enough to it in the tiny 1.2L Lancia diesel I was driving!

Coool pic.
Nicely done paint job. Wonder what the colors signify.
Like how they echoed the B-pillar swoop.
Guess you're flogging that 1.2 liter diesel.
3500 redline?
Drove a 1.1 liter Fiat ages ago in Europe.
Engine displacement the size of a soda pop bottle. What a hoot.

Yeah, that sucker took a beating, alright! I knocked out about 2400K in two weeks, and was always flat out (just about!). I was surprised that peak torque seemed to be around 3500rpm as you say, but that it would rev up to about 4500rpm pretty easily.
Here's another pic of the pursuit; though blurry, it does show the speedo in the Lancia at 150... okay, kph! I could squeeze her on the flats for 160kph, but that's it!!

Hmmm... I don't like this at all... I neither like the colors chosen, nor the way the stripes flow, as they do not really follow the B pillar very closely. I think this is a clear example of more is not always better.

However, is that side skirt normal? Can't tell if this is an S or S4, but it looks "added on" to me. Could the stripes be part of a racing color, perhaps?
