Default windshield washer jet removal?

The PO aparently used well water in the windshield washer system and I have some brown buildup around the windshield washer nozzles in the hood.
I flushed the tank and got all the brown fluid out.
So how could I remove the hood nozzles to clean that area properly?

Pop the rubber covers off the underside of the hood directly beneath the nozzles. Carefully bend the tabs in and push them up through the hood. Replacements were about $4 ea at the dealer... if you get them ahead of time you can see how they attach before you risk bending your hood.

Oh, should have mentioned... I picked up the nozzles and all 4 check valves for under $20. Took a couple days for the check valves to arrive, IIRC.

AFAIK Dave's car does not have the heated washer nozzles you have on your car, Sab! Your nozzles will probably cost a few $$$s more.

good point Nicole. My nozzles seem fine, I just need to get them out to clean under them. Does anyone have a closeup picture of one?

HEATED washer nozzles? Learn something new everyday. Kinda figures... I guess you have to get up pretty early in the morning to beat features like air-conditioned glovebox, etc.
