DEVEK - SUPERMODEL Tech Session and Gathering, March 26-27

Wow! Thats really good news. I will be interested to hear more on that. Alittle suprising, but I am glad to hear it none the less. I guess the tide is turning...towards supercharging.

We are very excited about this event too! Looking forward to a successful weekend and we really do welcome anyone who wants to come and check out the happenings.
I would still recommend the same Hotel we have used for DEVEK Days all these years. It is now the Marriott Fairfield Inn (formerly Inns of Amerca) in San Carlos. I have not booked a block of rooms, but if you are coming you can email Brenda O'Sullivan directly to receive our special $59 rate for this event. brenda.osullivan@marriott.com
Just mention the DEVEK Tech session in your email and she will take care of you - you will NOT get this rate by calling the front desk or Marriott reservations.
Looking forward to seeing everyone who is coming, and bummed that there are some of you "regulars" who are not going to be able to make it. Will everyone please keep their fingers crossed that there are no "early arrivals" that weekend???
Thanks,
Susan Thomas

FYI:
Here is a link to a PHR review of the Corvette Magnacharger system. Its very similar to what Bill and I are doing. Two systems are mentioned, one is a MP112 non-intercooled system with 5psi-which PHR describes as "plenty" of boost.

Been through three early arrivals already so i'll opt out of that tech session if you don't mind. Hope all is going well with the kid. The last several weeks can be pretty brutal.

I will tiptoe my way towards the questions that I must ask...
Let me start by saying that I am a big fan of of both Andy and Devek. I am very pleased that they have made and continue to make efforts towards improving and maintaining our beautiful 928's.
Questions:
1) Will Devek now be the sole/exclusive supplier of your systems? If not now, how long will it be until that is scheduled to happen?
2) After the initial discount that is now being offered, how long will it be before the price of these systems is raised? Devek is not known for its discount pricing and now that they must add their overhead, margin, SG&A on top of Andy's current price...well, I think you know what I'm asking here. How long before the $3500 system (pre-install) becomes $7000 (pre-install) because of Devek's involvement?
I hope my questions are taken the right way...I really like both Devek and Andy.

Sweet!
In the long run, more and more people with regular 928s will want to add superchargers. And the more that do, some of them will want custom engines, to turn up the boost. Or they will turn up the boost without mods, and blow their engines, and will need work done to redo their engines properly. I think getting more SC 928s on the streets will only help to boost the popularity of the 928, and increase the number of people who are interested in hot-rodding their 928s.
Also, with a kit that is so simple, and easy to install quicky, it might even be possible to get CARB certification. It's a lot easier to do with a bolt-on kit, than it is with a stroker engine...
Are you guys going to be selling his 16V kits too?
