Help, Need new LH computer for 87 S-4
Well after weeks of troubleshooting. and thanks to Bill Swift (real real nice guy), I have found that a bad LH computer is the reason my S-4 would not run properly. Who has one that they need to get rid of, or where can I buy one without having to sell my children? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am getting very very tired of having a 928 paper weight.

I've got news for you, Steve, ain't nobody gonna want to buy your kids after the way you've treated them, racing down the roadway with them clutching the wipers for dear life!

There are many Rennlist sponsors that provide the 928 LH control units,
a few of which are in SoCal near you. Just do a seach. Many have very
competitive prices and provide units that are more reliable than the originals.
If you need a broader search, do a Google search using "LH control unit" or
"928 Parts". Use the quotes for a narrower search.

Well, you trust one to have your kid and take care of him in a different country, teach him "Both" languages - you get a sense that its all very reliable.
Not to say Mr. Andretti or I mean Andrade is not.

I notice on my new motherboard there is a sticker over one of the components that reads: "remove seal after washing". Should I toss it into the old dishwasher?

Ah, well here's the story on Lucas. It was merely an attempt and English Humor. What the story tellers forgot is the the punch line. All a simple misunderstanding.
Lucas - Prince of intermittent Darkness.
And the warm beer thing was for a different reason.

The Big 3 provide them as well. Rebuilt from Porsche, at least in the case of DEVEK, where I got mine, with a 2 year warranty. You may have to sell the boy. I paid about $1100 a while back.
