Jim,
Glad you scored! I had spoken to Curt as well and was convinced of the cars merit.

G-Man if you run into any problem PM me, I'll do what I can to help you out getting it back on the road with a rebuilders title.

Curt911, whoever did the work did a nice job!

Please keep us updated on getting it titled. Im interested to know how difficult it will be.
There must be an awful lot of opprotunities sitting in the state of Florida if this c.o.d. is not a death certificate.

Thanks for the input gang. I was pretty excited when I won the auction. It came down to only a few seconds between myself and another bidder. I waited until there was less than one minute left before I placed my high bid. I was watching the other bids creeping up during the last 30 seconds, but I lucked out and got it! Let me tell you, the adrenalin was pumping. I was still amped up when I went to bed at 11:00 last nite. I tossed and turned all nite. SO any way, this shark is going to a good home where it will be cared for properly! Now I just have to get it here!

I wanted to publicly thank Curt911 for his willingness to answer all my questions and inquiries about the car during the auction. I think I called him seven or eight times! He was a pleasure to do business with. Hope we see him around here again. Thanks Curt!

I too am glad Jim ended up with the car, I just can't imagine it being parted out!

Perhaphs this thread should be retitled to "what a save for a 928" rather than what a waste!!!!

Nice save, Jim. $4200 ain't bad at all for a shark. That's what I paid for mine; I'm sure douglas Adams would approve.
