Goldmember Twin Turbo for Sale
I am selling the new Goldmember Twin Turbo:
1980, 4.5 liter, 3-spd Auto, S4 wheels, S4 Interior. Exterior is Gold and interior is Burgundy.
Engine: 4.5 liter, Nikasil plated block, JE forged 2618 pistons, two K-24 turbos, two Tial 38mm wastegates, stainless steel manifolds, MAF hot wire with calibrator, large Bosch injectors, adjustable fuel pressure regulator. All new: Pistons, pins, rings, bearings, seals, gaskets, valve guide seals, etc. As of today there are less than 500 miles on the engine.
Recent tight 3-speed installed, new CV joints, new tranny cooler lines under car.
This is perhaps the the best sleeper 928 out there, as it looks totally stock but is so much more. I am estimating this car is packing about 400 crank HP, though it has yet to go on the dyno. 0-60 has been measured at 5.2 seconds, stock 4.5 with AT is 8.5 seconds. With more tuning, this car will likely be even quicker. Roll on accelleration is very hard. Setup for 10 lbs of boost, so this is not a self-destructing motor. Will make 10 lbs of boost by 3,700 RPM off the line, earlier in roll-on accelleration situation.
Asking $16,000....trust me, you could not build it for that.

Ugh, I have pics on the pca.org website, so for those who are members you can take a peek there. This car is nice, but not a show car. The interior is decent...the leather has no tears. The dash has cracks, so if could use a coverlay or the like. I'll see about getting some pics. Right now she fits right in here in KY...I have been driving it without the hood. But this weekend we are having nasty weather, so I have to wait to drive again.
Hey Hacker, remember you can flow lots of air with two small turbos....probably 1/2 the size of your head.
I did all of the heavy fab work myself, and at the price I have this thing at right now, my GM% is VERY low, in other words it probably wasn't worth my time, but I hope to get all my money out of the Goldmember. If I can't sell it, I will keep it and use for quick around town blasts. 25 years old, I can get historic plates here in KY.
