Default Wanted DEAD or ALIVE: 5spd Gearbox

OK Folks, let's talk turkey.

I have a yen for a 5spd gearbox and any other goodies I may need to convert my auto to 5spd. This means torque tube, clutch etc if I can have them too. But the gearbox would be the most important. MUST be '85 or later.

So ... I have many many parts to trade (only for this item, not in general)
- S4 engine parts. Heads, block, the whole deal ... but I'm not trading a whole engine for a box
- 8-way leather seats in great shape
- body panels
- interior panels
- sunroofless roof
- S wheels and tyres
- rear ac unit complete
- Porsche tyre pump (have a few)
- good used windshield with antenna
- good used windshield with no antenna
- almost-new radiator for auto (needs end tank resealed)
- y-pipe cat bypass for single exhaust cars
- many cats and mufflers
- CIS fuel distributor
- low-mile '85 auto tranny (like new)
- rear hatch for S4
- doors, fenders etc

C'mon .... someone make me a deal here. All I want is a 5spd

Well, I have a 5 speed, torque tube, shifter and linkage. The previous owner of my car was going to do the conversion but never did so he threw it all in for me. Not sure exactly of the year but I do have his receipt somewhere. If this interests you....

Well, its actually from an 82 and I have the pedals also. If interested let me know. OR if anyone is interested. As far as the conversion goes, there is a guy in Asutralia or something that has documented it online. Check it out here...http://www.landsharkoz.com/tech/stu/conversion.htm

Garrity ... wise words. I have now got a 5spd S4 and two auto '85's. The '85's are both so cool I may just hold onto them. They are both low-milers. And the US car has a rebuilt title because its fender was dented. So .... I likely won't be able to sell it. I may as well make that like-new car a 5spd so I can enjoy it. And the Euro is such a rarity, I'm thinking .... I should maybe keep it. But I need it to be a 5spd too. Can't run out and just buy one of the '85's in the kind of shape they are ... that would be like taking $20,000 and throwing it into the water.

Well, I have no idea what the thing is worth, but the receipt said it sold for 1800, so I guess I would need at least 350 plus shipping, whatever that turns out to be, and if someone wants just the tranny than the rest could go to heinrich. He would just have to cover shipping of that stuff too. If you need numbers off of anything just let me know, and where to find the numbers of course.

Where are you located, truvkngfan? Anywhere near Florida, the midwest, or anywhere in between?
