Ignore the intake scoop on the hood/bonnet, it's temporary. I'm just testing something, we'll change the shape later...

Beautiful car! The body work is amazing especially on a black car that shows every imperfection. What are the two panels in the rear bumper cap? I see a tow hook coming out of the left, but nothing on the right side.

Nice job Pierre! Love the fender flares. They're beautifully shaped and match the original car's lines very well.

Looks Great! Love all the gills in the sides.

Can't wait till you get the final air scoop in there that's less WRX.

PS. Somebody got the right rear tire on backwards, I think.
Them are some Wiiide tires.

So how was the test drive?
Any chance for video so we can hear the beast.

Thanks for all the compliments guys.

Weight - not sure yet. I'm hoping it will come in at +/- 1200kg when it goes back on the scales.

Rear bumper cover - As Jim said, gills and vents are there to let air out. Common sense tells me me the rear bumper cover will be a parachute without the block-off plates behind the rear wheels.

ew928 - The bread bin style intake on the bonnet is already off. We're trying to fabricate an intake similar to the lines the GT1 has on the roof.

Tyres are old. New slicks are going on soon. The test didn't go well, clutch problems. It was premature anyways, me just over eager to drive the car.

If all goes well I should be testing on a race track in the next few weeks. I'll post videos when I do.

Cheers,
Pierre.

The car is ready for shakedown this weekend. Man, I can't wait! More photos and some on-board footage to follow. If all goes well the debut race will be next weekend 12 April at Kyalami in the local Porsche Challenge series.

Keep your fingers crossed please.
