Pierre.
That is the nicest rear body mod I have seen on a 928..You and Gavin have done a great job.
That is just what I need for my OB that is just sitting in my garage waiting for a makeover.
Are You guys in business?

Geir,

No, we're not in business. We never were, but Gavin will sell you a kit, I guess. It was my design but Gavin did the work, and he also contributed some design ideas. I'm not involved in any commercial venture as such, but I'll check with him and PM you his contact details in the next day or two, okay?

Get a billet aluminum one.

www.summitracing.com has them in numerous configurations.. Not sure exactly what a 928 would need but here is one..

Pierre
I agree about the crappy radiator header tank. If you find a suitable replacement I'd appreciate a heads-up. BTW the standard PS reservoir looks equally crappy IMO though yours looks good in the pics. I replaced mine with an Opel Astra one. Identical ZF component but smart black.

Abby, thanks for the Summit links. I'm gonna try to source one locally first, maybe have one fabricated...

Colin, I'm sure to let you know if I come up with anything. In the meantime that Opel Astra part sounds like a cool idea for a temporary fix. Do you perhaps have a part number or model / year?

Cheers.
Pierre.

That ugly stock radiator shroud has been pissing me off for a while, so tonight I quickly slapped this thogether... lol. Something to secure the bellmouth intakes and replace the old stuffed radiator shroud. ( the new electric fans I'm installing have built in shrouds)

Couple of angled aluminium sections, a flat piece of carbon fibre and some flush rivets. Now I just need to clean it up, sand & paint the bellmouths and it's ready to be installed.
