Default Leda Suspension Group Buy

I have been given the go ahead by JohnD now on this one.
For those of you I haven't spoken to I am usually found on the 944 Turbo board
I have a deal with Leda to be able to offer the full 928 Leda Suspension Coilover Kit with Eibach springs (full car set 4 Units) for around $1040. This is a saving to Rennlisters of over $700 on the advertised price by one of the major US sellers. I will be cross posting this group buy as it is available for other Porsche models too. In the first instance if anybody is interested please mail me and I will give you a definataive price as there are option that you may want to consider e.g Rose Jointing, Nitrogen injected emulsified oil etc etc.

Cheers
Tom

www.leda.com - is this the same kit listed on their site for 837.04 pounds?
Does the $1040 include shipping?
Is this a street package or more of a race setup like the Koni's?
Anyplace to get more info on these? The Leda site offers less than zero information about their products.
What spring rates are available to choose from?

Hi Hans
To go for Double Gas (Independent bump and rebound adjustment on remote canister for ultimate adjustability) would add another $950 making the kit $2000. I know that in US this kit would cost $3500+
A very nice piece of kit though!!!!!

Hi Hacker-Pschorr,

It is has 24 adjustable settings and can be used for road or race with different set ups. It is the same kit as advertised for £837.00 in UK.
I will email you a source for more information.

Cheers

From Leda website:
Gas (24 position adjustment with remote canister for motorsport) + £150 each

So it is 150 pound extra for remote adjustment. And the std package offered has the 24 position adjustment, just not remote. Are they interenally adjustable or externally? Meaning does the shocks have to be removed to make adjustments?

Thanks!

what kind of baseline valving will the shocks get? the 928 weighs considerably more than a 944, i would assume they need quite different internal valving.

can we specify the spring rate and opt for constant rather than progressive?

how reliable are the leda units over time? im not sure whether to read into the fact that the factory offers to rebuild them as a service... does that mean its needed routinely?

@ Tommo951,

Can I join the group buy (being in Brussels, Belgium)?

It seems a proposition too good to let pass.

What are the base rebound and comp rates, and what spring ranges are you suggesting that they will effectively damp? Are they heim jointed? Are these direct bolt in?

Has any R& D been perfromed..is there a test 928 running around with these installed? Tack/street?

Please provide details....sounds like a good deal!!!!

Thanks,
Marc

Nick & Marc are asking the questions I have. Can we specify the base damping rates? Is this a plug & play replacement for stock 928 coilovers?

I'd want the double adjustables for my track car (DA w/ separate cans for $2k is a screaming deal) but need more info first. Thanks.

It is a screaming deal...we offer double adjustable Konis with springs for $3K...same as used on Kibort and other racers 928s.

I might just have to buy me a set of those for my GTS, once more information come out.

Any 928'ers out there with a set on for comments?

Hey Dennis...how are those custom valved Bilsteins I had made up working for ya? Rumor is that you keep surprising those pesky 993TTs
