That must be why I have been having troubles with my sunroof. Once I get that fixed I should be all set then! Or maybe I just need one of those corvette's where the roof will blow off @ 60+MPH....

I gotta post it.
I don't have the code, but the first item listed as "Optional Equipment" is "Austria Equipment".

I've checked around in the US, inquired with Porsche personnel at the COA program, and sent inquiries to european PCA chapters, no one has been able to do more than hazard a guess that it probably related to emissions specs. I'd sure like to know.
Unfortunately, the list of codes in the rear compartment is gone.
VIN is WP0ZZZ92ZDS840568

Default investigation

Thanks!
The latter seems pretty consistent with the information from Porsche for the COA and during my sebsequent discsussion with them. I'll keep my fingers crossed that someone can explain what that (111) entailed.
ONe of the last unsettled mysteries with this car...I've even traced back much of the ownership - but not the person who originally imported it.

Silly question, I guess you asked the guys in the Austrian Porsche classic club?
email office@porsche-classic-club.at
A lot of their site is in english language so I assume they would answer an english language email

just remembered that one of the "little" techncial books that Jim Morehouse has does cover the different options. I thought that I had it on a CD but now I can not find it.

AFAIK it's not listed in usual sources like Adrian's pdf list or Kindel's decoder page. Some GT's and possibly period S4's have it yet they don't have anything so special installed that someone could have solved what it means.

Few more mystery options found in '90 GT which came from Germany few days ago.

C00 Germany
058 Bumpers with impact absorbers
139 Seat heating left
326 Radio Berlin
340 Seat heating right
418 Protective side mouldings
498 Without rear model designation
513 Lumbar support right seat
567 Windshield green graduated tint
586 Lumbar support left seat
09981 Manufacture from the exclusive-programme
10141
11961
11962
11963
11964
11965
11966

It has had factory phone in center console (console is still left, phone is gone), has red leather dash, center console, luggage cover (no Porsche crest) and possibly other smaller interior parts also. Pod is standard black non leather for some reason. IIRR I have never seen 1196x codes mentioned anywhere. There isn't that much special in this one to explain so many unknows unless these are all related to phone.
