Thanks all. I felt very fortunate to be able to do it. Big thanks to Brian Bowman for hooking me up. They contacted him looking for a canidate with a 78-79 and he recommended me. Luck would have it in my favor that the both of the Tegler brothers live across the river from me, in Severna Park. All this went down in July, but i didnt want to say anything in case they scrapped it. They did a nice picture. Thats beach number 2 in my neighborhood. I used the same river spot for my photo on my home page.
Your right Don, we do!
Hey Don, I took the author, Jan Tegler for a spritied run down River Rd. He was impressed. I gave him the wheel and he took it down Honeysuckle and Crownsville Rd and back to rt-97 via Harry Truman Pkwy to Riva Rd. If we had had more time, i would have let him tear it up thru the back roads in Davidsonville. I didnt even get a chance to have him launch it on our favorite "drag strip." His poor brother Eric, we left at that neighborhood beach in the photo for over half an hour.
Did you know that niether Borders or Barnes and Nobel carries this magazine? I have no clue where to find copies. The only place i can think of is the News Center in Glen Burnie. If you see it, grab a couple and i'll pay you for them.
Cheers!
BTW - looks like i can make it to the Frezny after all. The graduation thing is the week before and my wife is going to Williamsburg on Frezny weekend for shopping with her folks. I cant stay at the hotel because of the dogs, but i can make the daytime activites.
