Hi Folks....!

Just a brief interruption.....

For you folks having difficulty with the fonts - can you go to the bottom left of the page and select "Rennlist-large_fonts"? If that doesn't work for you, please let me know what you are using for a browser (and version). I'll see if I can't write another style to assist you....

Also - the FAQ should be in the menu at the top of where you are reading that - just to the right of "User CP"..? If it's not showing for you, please let me know, OK???

Rennlist e-mail lists... As Randy notes, over 7 years ago - PorscheList/Rennlist started on this site... For that - both Jen and I (and Randy - with some "old timers" ) are both humbled and daunted by this site's growth.....

Again - my thanks for the comments, support and encourgement.. It's more appreciated then many realize.

John

John, I found the FAQ. Searched the FAQ. However, it does not answer the two questions I posed above. (At least I'm relatively certain it doesn't.)

Hey Dave..!!!

Shoot - I'm sorry! I missed your earlier post!!!

OK - you are a Rennlist Member - so you have unlimited storage on attachments. Nope - it does NOT count to the 200MB on your Rennlist Member website - as they are two different systems....

As well - not in the FAQ - you have special SIG, PM Mailbox, features and Forum access....

My best to you - and sorry I missed your question first time around! Maybe I should write a post when I get caught up to explain all the differences - assuming I ever get caught up!!!

I tried that and there was no significant change - maybe 2 pts. I'm using IE6 latest. I tried Mozilla Firefox. There is a plug-in that blows up the fonts. It gets things back to where they were before but it creates other formatting issues on other webpages.

It seems that IE6's font enlargement setting has ZERO effect as if you have over-ridden it and fixed the font size. I could drop my resolution but I have run this way for years without issue.

Hey Bill..!!!

Thanks for the feedback!! I'm coding a new style that may work - so give me 'til tomorrow AM to try to get it finished, OK? When I do - I'll post back to this thread and ask that you and a few others give it a test drive as I finalize that code "on the fly".....

Thanks again for the feedback - and NO, I do NOT want you to change your screen resolution. That's not the way it should be on Rennlist....

Best to you - and thanks again!!!!

John, lets see, 80hrs of writing new code, 20hrs writing corrections to the new code, 10 hrs tweaking the corrections, 5hrs tweaking the tweaked code and than 20 hrs explaining the changes?

You don't have to explain it on my account! LOL, like your ever going to catch up anyway

Get some sleep!

Yea - well I keep telling myself anything is possible!!

BTW - Bill and all....

I just uploaded a new Font scheme. You can select it at the bottom of the page. It's called: Rennlist-X_Large_fonts

Now - I have to tell you - when I tested/wrote it, the fonts were big enough for me to read in Omaha, and I'm in NH...

Let me know how that works for you, OK???

Best to all!

John:

The X-large is an improvement. Still not where it was. The font size adjustment that is avilable within IE6 has ZERO effect since the upgrade. I sure thought it worked before. Maybe my memory is faulty.

Hi Bill (sorry for hijacking this thread, folks..!)

Can you give it a try now - and try to scale using the IE menu control?

Thanks!

I'm not talking for or about Bill or anyone else for that matter, but the Rennlist X-large should do it for most old-timers!

I'm running IE 6.0 set to medium, but like Bill pointed out. The Text Size option has no effect on the forum script.
