Question qualified paint shop LA South Bay area?

Getting ready to prep my '78 for a repaint. Well, really it's more than a repaint.

I will prep:
*Remove as much trim, glass as practical.

For shop to do:
*There are two fairly minor areas where the galvanization has
bubbled up.
*Couple of small dings
*Rear bumper cover will require complete strip & repaint. Possibly same with the front.
*One small area that appears to have had some minor filler in its life, but nonetheless want to have it taken care of properly.
*Thinking about deleting side rub trim (any experience/recommendations?)
*Thinking about filling holes where marker lights were added for (I'm guessing) purposes of federalization.
*Retain same color - Petrol Blue

Anyone know of a good paint/bump shop in L.A. South Bay area you would trust with 928 work (that is the nice mix of plastic/alum/steel panels, plus 27-layer paint on top of galvanized)?

Any recent experience here ($) with a job on this order of magnitude?

Thanks. Pic of beast attached.

For those that don't know Ave G in Redondo Beach is the 928 center of the "South Bay". There are 5 928s within 1 block and 2 more within 10 blocks. Those are just the ones I know of. I met a tow truck driver today that has 2 and sadly found that my former 86.5 had been T boned and totaled.

Sorry Scott no experience of a body shop top speak of. I'll be interested of any info as I would like to get the "80 back to Moca Braun, but with some metalic and may be 10% Prussia Blue mixed in.

The best of the best is Bastoli's Auto Body in Inglewood! He is right next to West Coast Customs who does "Pimp my ride on MTV". He knows Joe real well.

My garagemate Mike has an 86.6 SCed with one of my Jag/Eaton setups. Can't believe youhaven't seen it. It is Prussia Blue and he drives it daily. It occupies the spot next to my "pink" car.

Inglewood? better ad in a few bucks to the budget to fill in the bullet holes.

Bastoli is real good. Does a lot of high end rides, Rolls,NSX, and yes Porsches. I already talked to him about paint for my 928 and you could figure getting set back 2k to 2500. That will buy you very good quality work. He has fixed my wifes accord and my old mustang GT and the work was excellent. Talk to the son Jimmy. Nice Kid.

Oh yeah, He removes all trim. That should give you an idea.

Try Einmalig in Huntington Beach. Ask for Vince Mesa and speak to him personally.

2k to 2500.00 ? Sounds very inexpensive. Just had a shop in O.C. offer to paint pass. door pass. rear fender, back end and sunroof panel for 1250.00. I have been geting estimates for total repaint from 4,000 on the low to 10,000 on high. I am going to have the shop that fixed my Jag give me an estimate soon. They did an incredible job repainting the whole side of the car ( some punk keyed it ) but that alone was 1200.00. If they do good work its a deal but I would definately want to see some work.

Hey Scott, you might also want to drop by the SoCal 928 forum - a group of 928 enthusiasts in the So Cal area that may have some additional recommendations for you.

Default thanks

Thanks for all the suggestions. Enough to get started. I was also thinking maybe West Coast Customs could add some neon, maybe some spinners. DVD entertainment system.
