Previous life- oil exploration data acquisition and R&D. Recent previous life- Instrumentation and Controls in the power generation industry. Current life- freshly unemployed. Constructive hobbies- welding, machinist, mechanic, design and fabrication, sailing, blues harmonica player, and, of course, my 928. I like being unemployed the best (for a while!).

Well, I'm a Mechanical Engineer. We design Automation line machinery. We put people out of work so robots can do what they were doing faster.

BA in Physics
BS in Mechanical Engineering

I could always take things apart and build them back up better.

Electrical Engineer, Test and Evaluation of the Navy's E-2C Hawkeye aircraft. Started as an Aviation Electronics Technician in the Navy, after my six year hitch I went and got my EE degree. Joined the reserves during college and retired as a Chief Petty Officer two years ago, 23 years was enough for me.

I have always loved cars and planes. First car was a 67 Chevelle which I put a bigger motor, trans, and rear in. Fun but very scarey in turns and above 100 mph. Second project was my Triumph Stag. 3.0L V8, cast iron block with aluminum heads and single overhead cams. Changed the auto trans for a 4 speed with overdrive. I rebuilt the engine, trans and overdrive. I also did all the brake work and anything else it needed except for the paint. I even recovered the convertible top. It has been lonely since I bought the 928!

The 928 has it all for me, looks power and handling. I wanted a German car and was looking at the Mercedes 560 SEC's and BMW 635's. I like 911's but they are too pricey when compared to what the 928 has to offer. I'm very pleased with my decision! This forum is great!

I run the Technical Support Department for a concert loudspeaker manufacturer named L-ACOUSTICS. They completely reinvented concert loudspeakers about 10 years ago and have set the benchmark for every other manufacturer to this day.
People who use or have used our equipment (that I can remember?)
Metallica, Van Halen, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Prince, Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins, Motley Crue, Eminem, Deep Purple, Def Leppard, Matchbox 20, Iron Maiden, Radiohead, The Pope!, Wayne Newton, Mana, Aaron Carter (for the kiddies)...... well you get the picture. The list is endless and everytime I try to list a bunch, I forget them all....... lol

I am originally from Canada but was brought into the US by L-ACOUSTICS to take over this department which is also responsible for factory training of the pro-audio companies that buy our equipment. I travel a LOT but it is a worthy endeavour..... off to San Fran in the morning for the AES tradeshow...

I work contract for Ontario power generation i'm the guy you see in the big yellow suits inside the nuclear reactors, if you look close at night you might see me glow just kidding. I don't glow my dose count this year to date is 600 millirem or about the same as an X ray. I'm allowed 2000 mr per year or 5000 mr in 5 years. I work a few months then take the rest of the year off. Other than that when I need to I drive transport truck between contracts.

I used to own a ladies hair accessory corp. Based in NYC for 15 years. Did private label for all the mass merchants.

Was struck with Multiple Sclerosis and seizures 6 years ago so being disabled I now fix things... Computer networks, cars, antique furniture, pretty much anything. Currently repairing pressure washers for a river barge inspection company. As long as it's interesting and I can be sitting down I take it on!
