Drew;
None are commercially made for the pre 86.5 cars. Best bet is to take it to a quality muffler shop and have them whack off the rear muffler and weld on a straight pipe.
Or, go w/ a true dual exhaust (like the 85 + cars) and enjoy about a 22 rwhp gain.
Check out James Komiaks rennlist page for hp gains w/ different exhaust mods.

Having done this mod and then un-done it, I can tell you that I found a real lack of low end torque with an RMB on my '82. I ran it that way all last summer and the first thing I did this spring was put a muffler back on.
Wow what an improvement. I know it goes against current thinking, but I truly feel that Porsche got the exhaust right on the pre 87s. But it is easy to do as mentioned above, ant it only cost me 40 bucks to put the muffler back on. - Ruf

drew,
is your 84 a euro with twin pipes throughout? if so then the RMB is same as 86.5 USA. i got mine from 929 intl in polished stainless and it is a quality item.

Yes - my exhaust is twin pipe all the way back. (From the headers)
I'm thinking about running this magnaflow with One three pipe from the resonator.
Using a two into one collector from the resonator - then running a 3" pipe to this muffler, which would hang in the same local as the original muffler.
Thats what I was thinking for a RMB.

Having a crossover increases torque. My 1967 Dodge R/T had a factory crossover tube just between the tranny pan and the bellhousing. A friend that was restoring the same model but with PO-hacked exhaust copied mine and picked up ~1/3 sec in the 1/4 mile. Others have studied the science and can better explain, but the bottom line is performance. Oh, and it improves the sound too.

I have the rear and secondary muffler off the '81. Nothing but pipe after the CAT.
Sound? Awesome, I know two other people that have MSDS headers and custom exhaust that have told me mine sounds better.
Ever see bullitt? The end of the chase scene where Steve is putting his 8-speed mustang throught he gears down the highway? I've been told my car sounds like that when I shift.
Power? Rufus is probably right, but my engine was in such sorry shape when I did this, I can't say it mattered. The SC will take care of that.

ok drew, so the front part of the exhaust will stay stock up to the first (central) resonator and then you will have one pipe after that with the magnaflow end can.
hmmm... might be good!

Yep - thats the ticket. Once it's all said and done I will be posting before and after audio clips. I'm anxious as all can be to hear the final results.

Take'em both off, trust me.
At 80mph with the windows down, I cannot hear my exhaust at all.
