^^^

...and fluid needs to be checked with the transmission warmed up, engine running andnafter shifting through all the gears - its a 2 person job with someone inside rhebcar with the shidter in D and their footnonnthe brake with the parking brake set. Fill it to the max line on the reservoir ansndontntuen the car off until the reservoir cap is reinstalled or the hot fluid will overflow.

Why is this a 2 person job??

Warm id up, run thru the gears to make sure its all "full" where it needs to be in the valve body..but after that the level is the level in any condition (while still running).

I was instructed to fill it while it was in drive (or neutral) but not in park. Anything other than park makes it a 2 per job in my mind for safety. Maybe D or N isn't necessary, but that's what I was told.

Ok, thanks. So once I've heated it up and shifted trough all the gears, I can just leave it running in park and no difference? Great.

Yup, all the "air" is out, and kept running the fluid pump keeps it that way.
