In door CD holder option question
Was the in the door CD holder standard with the rear CD changer?
When I purchased my 95 it was the first time I had ever seen this option. It has a place for around 12 CD's in the bottom right hand corner of the door.
Thanks

O K now it makes sense , years ago Mark bought from Porsche a number of C D holders part # 928 552 933 02 ......we have 20 of them BUT we could not figure out where they fit on the car !!!! neat plastic box with pop out trays ......How weird something they tooled up and almost never sold ....

Pretty neat thing to have, but I'm sure an almost impossible retro fit. I would think the door panel would be different, or maybe a stock one was cut out. But then again there's carpet behind it, and other issues. Anyone know the exact procedure for putting one in?

That looks like a great option. I'll bet Brian the "Cleaniness ****" would be not be pleased if I found an easy way to leave more than 2 or 3 CDs in my car at a time, instead of the CD rack "where they belong"

Thanks for the info all.
The funny part is that on the Certificate of authenticity it's not listed. They do say to send the papers back if I see any discrepancies.
Thannks again

You know...if you had the door open anyway, how hard would it be to get in there to add wiring, hook up a whole freakin' CD changer...if you could find one light and thin enough. Or...how about the map pocket? Nah, probably too much vibration.
