Are all 928 lugnuts the same?
Were there any changes to the lugnut style or shape over the years, particularly from the "87 dish wheels to the 993 style wheels? Thanks.

Thanks, guys. I was asking particularly about shape and material. I am replacing my '87 dishes with 993 wheels and want to use the same lugnuts. Any issues with doing this? Thanks.
Jim,
Do you sell the 4 locking lugnuts for the 993 wheels? From other threads, I think they are part number 993.361.057.00. However, is that for 1 or 4?And with keys? Thanks.

Porsche has used the same basic lug nuts for 40 years . The new factory LOCKS are nuts which use a special socket to remove them . The old style with key are no longer used they are somewhat harder to use on wheels where the lug nut holes are very deep . Lug nuts should be torqued to just 100 ft lbs . The Porsche lock sets we sell are a bit under $60 for a set of four with special socket .

take a look at the 928 Australian site, there is a lot of detail about the mplexity about wheel and tyre sizes and offsets, etc. The link is http://www.landsharkoz.com/tt/ttwheels.htm
if you are not frightened off then enjoy your new wheels!
