As i work through the challenges on my 85 928.... New things keep popping up I am working a shopping list with 928srus.
I notice that the shifter will not go into 3,2. I can move easily from Park through Drive. It will not go past that. I have looked at the cable and appears ok.

Does anyone have any experience with this issue?

Also not sure how to get to the shifter mechanism under the accordion. How would I access to check underneath? I am not sure where else to look.
