Default Thanks for talking me off the ledge

Many of you have seen me go back a forth after saving the fire victim 89 I have. After a year of working on it on and off I drove it (actually my son did as I was in the passenger seat) for a 15 minute drive. Car ran well, nice driver, good power. Still needs more work but it will be fully sorted by next spring. Next big search is a windshield.

basically just a big thanks e

I got a quote for $350 for a new windshield installed in my '82. I think your car has the embedded antenna, which pushes the cost through the roof because they're NLA, right?

Have you considered going with a normal windshield and installing one of those 'hidden' car radio antennas?

You already jumped off the ledge, when you decided to fix this car.
People that have been helping are just slowing down the landing....

All I can say is wow. Today did another quick drive with the car. Way more power than I anticipated and was not expecting the LSD to kick the back end out like it did. New windshield this week. Thinking would make a great daily driver for me.

What a beautiful car. I've got an '87 s4 I was thinking of selling but after I started working on it and driving it again I'm having second thoughts. They are such a pleasure in the curves.
