also check the O2 sensor wires make sure they didnt get hung,
by someone dropping the cats down with out disconnecting the sensor first.
easiest thing is swap in another MAF and reset the battery.
Battery voltage test as well.

Last person on the Ypipe was me, The O2 wiring, was, and still looks fine.
My front damper vac line, sings of fuel smell, but no liquid. I'll have to investigate the rear ones later.

Rob Edwards had a brand new one, still in the original box, which leaked fuel out of the vacuum port....

Made sad noises as I watched $600 of new damper pee all over the new Zombie motor.

Burning Brakes
I'm having something come up more than it used to..It used to be just..once every few months. Now it's happened 2x today.
Im currently in Houston.
The car will want to stall touching the throttle off idle, and when this happens RPMs just fall, not like a bad CPS, but the engine 90% stops running right away..hufs 5 or 6 compression stroked..and then comes back, or dies.
When it dies..to restart it I have to go WOT, and its just pig rich, fuel smoke and all..and it will stumble a few seconds, and then run ok, have never had a hiccup in cruise, just coming off idle, and a hard start if it dies.
LH going out?

I did, no fuel leaks.
Didn't have to counterweight MAF either...and if I did, I would use a smaller hammer, as the MAF is many hundred (thousand?) times more malleable than osmium...I mean, duh.

..and as noted, no visible leaks. The front vac line from the damper did smell, but it and the rears held vacuum while running for a few minutes until I gave up..

Three Wheelin'
My 84 Euro was exhibiting the very same symptoms. Any throttle over idle and it died. Unplugged the MAF and it ran better (not good, but was able to make it home). Pulled MAF and cleaned with MAF cleaner. Reinstalled and she started right up and ran perfectly. Apparently, it doesn’t take much to mess the MAF up. I always travel with a can of MAF cleaner in my “oh crap” tools to go bag.
