I turned down the identical car to this one 15 years ago (same colors, year, etc) for 1/10th of what I pad for this one. Duh.

We all know what he meant.
Kibort isn't even that bad.

Re-read your own post which was shaming someone for suggesting the engine to be "dropped"

I've done it both ways. When the job warrants it, dropping it is much easier and faster.

This upcoming winter I plan to drop the engine from my 87. You're welcome to come over and see how it's done.

not sure what this is 9n reference to but I intend to “drop” the engine / torque tube ‘ transaxle in my 78 as soon as my mechanic has the space to do so.

Your reaction to my post is about *you* and not about what I wrote. You reading my post and deciding that I was “shaming” is a reflection of your personal dislike of me.

If your intention is to “unmary” the drivetrain (e.g. front and rear suspension, transaxle, torque tube, and engine) and end up with a ‘shell’ (on the outside) then doing it in ‘one step’ by dropping it is perfectly fine. It takes more space, equipment, and jigs than if it’s done one assembly at a time. Which was is faster or cheaper at this stage in the 928 lifecycle is debatable.

However, if it’s just the engine, then is is faster and cheaper to follow the WSM procedure and pull the engine.

Abolfaz, beautiful! Enjoy.

@worf928 just ignore that guy. It's so easy to do.

The aluminium body shows its benefits. If this had been a BMW, Mercedes or Jag from the same era, it would have been rusted to pieces.

FYI, while the Ammo YouTube videos are entertaining, his work in person, at least on my car, leaves a bit to be desired. The countach us running now, it’s probably got another month or so before it’s drivable after which a local detailer will go over the car again.
