I had a similar experience about 2 years ago driving at night on a dark freeway, driving my '88 944, passing a pickup truck on a right hand sweeping turn -came up suddenly on very recently killed large dead deer laying in the middle of the left lane, absolutely no time to react and no place to go to avoid hitting it. Basically drove right over it doing 70mph. I exited the next exit about 1/3 of a mile away with a good amount of undercarriage damage . Lower Valance destroyed , condensor coil, radiator leaking heavily, radiator support brackets bent aft to a 45 degree angle, and both elec. cooling fans broken. I decided not to report to my insurance due to already high rates. I bought the replacement parts, straightened and re-welded radiator support brackets, which took about a month on my spare time. Deer are always danger to me living out in the country, and I have had several other near misses.

The front undertray is available, but just got expensive.
Interesting that your insurance is deleting broken pieces from your estimate.
Do they propose that the pieces just be left off the car?

I just left from my body shop, to make sure we're on the same page...theyre used to this from an adjuster at home..without their reading glasses, and hacking away at a quote, then forcing the shop to have them physically visit during the job, to adjust for the stuff they missed.
We're just getting this all done before it goes in the shop and I lose it for a few weeks...still a PITA.
And the used parts USAA said could come from porschepartsdepot.com, my shop would likely never get, because my shop has refused every recycled part they have ever sent them.
Just for those new to this...you NEVER have to accept a settlement, you can say no...
