I’ve been thinking of commissioning a 928 watch. I’d want it to be mechanical, somewhat classic, and made from recycled 928 parts. Is anyone else interested? If figure the approx price point for something nice would be $2800usd on the higher side, $400usd on the lower side.
if so, express your interest so I can put together a deal and post pics of watches you like, parts that would be cool to use, etc
Another option would be to get one of the digital watch face companies to make a 928 specific one and for a couple dollars we download it as the face for our apple and Android smart watches. Maybe they need a collective couple hundred dollars to do it for us. I have a couple Porsche themed ones already on my LG.
The outside perimeter could be shaped liked the timing gear with a 928 silhouette in the face and "928" in the background. They could make it so the individual aspects could be made any color or pattern the user wanted like most watch faces are customisable.
