I'm temporarily out of my reproductions for the front damper, waiting for the next batch to be completed at the machine shop.

I've got plenty of rears.

About 2-3 weeks.

Hold out for new. All the original dampers and regulators are failing now due to time and changing fuel composition. I put in a good used one about a year ago only to have it fail after a few months.

Exactly.
I've been cutting old dampers apart for about a year now.
I've yet to find one that actually moves and could respond to changes in fuel pressure (dampen.)
The rubber diaphragms are now more like non-flexible thin plastic.

If you can't wait for my next batch of reproductions to be done, I still have a couple of brand new ones, from Porsche.
A mere $457.

Did Mark bring your reproduction I purchased from him and screwed up the threads?

Yes, he did drop it off.
Did not realize that was yours.

I got a good repair on it, this afternoon.
Mary will drop it off at Mark's tomorrow.
Re-assemble without the wavy washer...just the damper, the bracket, and the nut. Don't need to tighten the 16mm nut much...it's huge and gets plenty tight quickly.
If you have one of my fuel lines, there's tons of room for the fuel fitting to tighten. If you have a stock line, there seems to be room, but if you happen to have a deep nut on your line, you my need to thin down the 16mm nut a bit to get the fuel nut tight.
I "blued" the inlet fuel fitting. Should seal up easily.

Let me know if you have any issues.
