Evidently not, Roger has been banned! Not a good move. This forum does not work if the best supporters of our cars are run off. God forbid we have to try to navigate the wild west, unsearchable landscape of Facebook, or worse, deal with Pelican. I see crap in other rennlist forums that posters get away with all the time and not a word is spoken. Can we make this forum less political please? Let's have a little more rope for the best 928 source on the planet, or else it soon won't be. Enough of this please

First Sean, and now Roger? Those two are revolutionaries in the 928 world and have literally built much of the knowledge base on this forum.

The interesting thing is, that according to the Terms of Service, IB isn't obligated to moderate any content, it's done at their sole discretion. I understand if he is flagrantly hawking his wares without being a paying vendor but if he is asking a question posed by a member without any sales intent like listing the link to the product on his site etc. then I don't see the issues.

There are several people who have products and answer questions about them while literally saying that they are aren't vendor and don't sell on RL then direct them to their website or to their email to talk about buying etc.

There's nothing to stop us from talking about the products Roger sells. Unless of course they want to ban everyone who does so, but what would that say about this place?

We used to say "It's not the cars its the people" Now we say "It's not the cars or the people. It's about revenue." Small inventors and people that do good things for the community have been run off one at a time.

and I'll probably get a vacation for this, but this forum needs to die off. there are other options and I'm not talking about the dirty bird.

It's more the history but they are pretty hard on vendors as well since it is owned by a vendor. some of the people didn't fit in here and they congregated there because there was no where else to go.

Like many of you, I have been a member here a long time. I've gotten so much value out of the information and, most importantly, made many good friends from Rennlist. My interest faded after I sold my 993 as all that the 991 people wanted to talk about is key covers and dealer service cost. Now that I have recently purchased a 928, I am excited to get some value out of a Rennlist membership. But banning Roger? WTF? So crazy. Perhaps the mods could explain, or better yet, remove the ban?
