I have been a member of Rennlist for nearly 20 years. I have multiple 928's and have worked extensively on them for over 12 years until I stopped in 2015. Luckily I have Sean at 928DOCS close by and he now works on my fleet.
I am passionate about the 928 and the 928 community as a whole. My profession is selling parts (mostly 928) but not on Rennlist.
I am here to help and participate in any way possible with my intimate knowledge of all parts 928. Happy to share my knowledge for free.
I am now a private member as I cancelled my sponsorship.
Let the fun begin.

Reason: deleted the violating language. You know better!
On another note , I got tricked a few weeks ago by my brother,
Thanks Jake this one is out of the park.
He asked me if I would look at a 928 that was stored at an airport, for a friend of his.
OK sure so we go pick up his friend,
He pulls out a 2 page for sale ad for a 928,
so he says he is not really sure if its good or not,
but anyway lets go look at it.
So we head west to Chester County airport and someone comes to let us in,
as we are driving past the hangers we come around the corner.
Their sitting on the ramp are TWO Brand new looking P51-D Mustangs,
and as we are driving by,
I`m saying Jake let me out, please STOP !
I wanna go look at the Mustangs forget about the car.
So we continue on to a big hanger and roll up,
there is a P51 Propeller and spinner bolted to the wall about 20 feet off the ground.
Looking into the hanger there are 2 Radial engined T 6 Texans with many panels off,
both of these also look brand new.
So I say to Jake where is the car ,
he says lets go take a look at the Mustangs.
Jake where is this car, JAKE ?
So we head out to the ramp and there are 2 Mustangs with the canopy`s open,
and two pilots dressed in tan flying suits
The planes are absolutely stunning.
One is Bald Eagle the one I flew in,
and the other is Double Trouble Two.
Turns out the plane I am flying in is going to be performing at the AC airshow in a few days.
So I am going with a demonstration pilot.
NOTE I went to the AC show later in the week with my dad and we saw Beasley flying his P51 routine.
Then he had formation flight with a F22, pretty cool man !
NOTE Turns out the other plane is part of an airshow act called the Horsemen.
Both of these guys took off after we got back to go practice.
Jake then says its your lucky day!
Your going for a ride in the Mustang.
Things happen pretty fast after that,
I fumble getting up on the front of the wing,
step on the tire first,
just like I have never done.
Then tried to squeeze into the rear seat, also a task that should be practiced.
Finally got the parachute on and buckled,
the intercom was explained to me.
Then egress instructions from Beasley, my show pilot.
If I* yell
Eject Eject Eject,
Put your head down and wait for the canopy to come off,
the last part of the side tracks have a downward tilt and the front edge could hit you in the head.
Umm OK
then you want to unbuckle then jump out to the right,
as the prop wash will assist you in being thrown clear.
Make sure you aim for the front of the wing
When your clear pull this ripcord handle as hard as you can.
We are going to be doing some aerobatics today .
Ahhh OK.
When you feel the Gs you need to grunt and tense your stomach,
this will keep the blood in your upper body so you dont pass out.
Umm OK.
I have no Idea whats coming.
He jumps in .
I get my camera out and start filming,
before I know it those big blades start turning,
and the big cloud of oil and gas mixture fills the air.
The smoke is then pushed into the cockpit,
then goes away just as fast as the Merlin springs to life.
WE taxied out doing the duck waddle ,
we did the run up, with the canopy closed, then reopened ,
then waited for a few ASEL to come in and land.
Then we took off.
Its a strange feeling as the engine noise is constant.
the engine seems to run at a constant RPM weather climbing or diving.
On the ground the sound sensation is completely different.
We did a few easy climbs and dives,
Beasley asked for thumbs up, I said YES !
So we did a few wing overs, easy peasy ,
and another thumbs up !
Then we did some loops and here is where the Gs come in.
I have never experienced G like this in all the years of Learjet flying.
My first grunt was kind of weak and my head started to fall to the floor, I leaned back and kept grunting.
As we rolled out thumbs up given.
Then we did another loop to a roll and while inverted we rolled to canopy up,
what a thrill this is .
A few more wing overs and we are heading back,
the faint smell of AV gas permeates the airplane when we go inverted,
its coming out of the over flow drains.
What a sensory overload this was, Jake my brother rocks this, Thanks!
I can only imaging the thoughts of the 18 YO kids,
They were tasked with flying one of these planes on a 6 hour mission to shoot down other planes and make it back.
Here are some pictures.
