Hi .

Any joy on the valve body for me ?

I am stressing about this. I have spent a fortune on this car over the years and would hate to get stumped now by a gearbox.

Sorry, got busy.

Yes, I have that casting number body (126 277 29 01.). The "black" stamped part number is 722 270 20 07 on the first one I pulled out.
If you can have the transmission people tell you what piston failed in what bore.....I'll make sure that piston is in the valve body and is in good condition.

I'll give you the body and the piston (don't expect anything else for Christmas, this year, from me.)
You can pay for the shipping.....and try to convince your import people that I'm sending you a part, for free (that should be fun!).

You sir , are the reason why I want to move to the USA !

I have Amazon Global shopper , so it can be sent to the the New York office. Do you know how the process of me getting it collected from you works perhaps ?

When I buy on Amazon , it usually goes with USPS .

Thanks again ...SOOOO much.

You have just saved a 928 ! I will try and get an answer from the gearbox guys on which piston was damaged.

I would ship it to whatever address you want, via whatever shipper you desire. USPS is super simple to use, here.

I'll post a picture, today, and your mechanic can mark which piston failed.
