Hi all. Hoping someone can point me in the direction of a local shop/person than can respray the hood and fender on my code 700 black 1989 S4. Not looking for museum quality...the rest of the car has good original paint. The car is a driver...but really want it to be presentable.

Hood was a mediocre at best respray some time in the past...and paint came off in chips while trying to remove a 25 year old clear bra. Fender is original paint...but someone managed to burn through it.

So far I have had no luck whatsoever finding anyone that knows enough about...or is willing to respray in single stage.

I've had a lot of mechanical work done...now it's time to get her looking sharp.

If they don't respond to this post, you might try reaching out via PM (there are probably rules around this but it looks like you're a member, so maybe not an issue) to Mr. Merlin or Majestic Moose. Moose ended up working with someone that Merlin recommended and the results for body work were great, though it hasn't been painted yet.
