a 6.5 year old thread is bumped to the top?

Whats going on?

Not the friendliest of threads either. We know Mark can be pretty annoying with his religion in Amsoil, but I think this isnt the greatest of threads to showcase one of the most frequent and interesting posters on the board.

Would it not have perhaps been better to ask whatever question was intended in a new thread? Talk about re-airing dirty laundry.

What year were the figure 8's no longer used? Gunar

Threads that deserve to be closed often are closed. That means they can't be bumped to the top. This one really isn't that bad since it appears all was resolved and conversation pointed out a few things other might want to know about cam housings.

Closing all threads after X amount of time would be a very bad idea and render the search function nearly useless. Just imagine how many threads containing valuable information would be lost.

These are live archives for us to use.

Very instructional.

So long as nobody revives the epic whiney ryan/russ saga, I'm good.

Then again, who cares?

Is this indicating that maybe Rennlist needs a warning to appear if there has been no activity on a thread for, say, a year?
I didn't even notice it wasn't a new thread. It showed up on the first page of the 928 forum for me. I wasn't searching for this. I didn't even look at the date. Sorry for the confusion....

Sadly, the drunkenness from Mexico wore off last week.

I don't like the idea. This thread not withstanding, a lot of thread resurrections are pretty nice.

Some sort of warning would be nice though, with the new avatar and sigs automatically updated old stuff can appear NEW.

I believe the OP could change the title of the thread if he cared to. That would mitigate the unpleasantness implied in the title.

Yeah, but NOTHING phases Kibort. Freakin Warrior.

Plus, he talked this guy off the ledge long ago.
