Failing water pump
After one problem tonight I decided to start fixing one of the threads in the block for the water pump. So, I decided to clean the water pump up so I could work with it. When I was cleaning it I noticed cracks on the impeller. I am not sure what make of pump it is, but I don’t think it’s that old. It does have a plastic impeller. Is anyone able to tell from the numbers what manufacture it is.
Part number
Manufacturers Number?
Cracks 180 out

History lesson
Well, this pump came off of a donor engine. It adds a little bit more to suspected maintenance that was performed on this. I am pretty sure the heads have been reworked prior along with timing belt. Not sure about water pump.
When I did my refresh on the thrust bearing fail motor, I decided to go with a EURO pump from eBay, knowing it was going to come off in the near future.
I think I put about 3000 miles on it. We will see how it held up.
