Default Trying a new rear badge

OK I've replaced the pic with an alignment proof (yes my own terminology). What do you guys think, should I align the 9,2,8 with the PORSCHE, and maybe align the 4 vertically with the E?

In addition, what to do with the S. It's too high at its left tail to be able to centre it, because it would overlap the 8. But the S is notably lower than the rest .... I do want to keep a distance between ther 928 and the S4, and I do want to drop the 4 down.

Advice please?

It kind of looks like the "S" is coming lose, and the "4" is already falling...

The whole thing looks to me as if the right parts are dropping off. Sorry, if this hurts your feelings...

LOL. are those the responses you were looking for H? At least no one said "parts flying off".

ATR maybe you're right, the 9 looks a bit high in the photo. But the bumper cover isn't flat, and the pic is at an angle, so it may be a parallax thing. I'll look when I get home. Nicole I considered all kinds of spacing and alignment, but I think I'll stay with the dropped 4 and spaced S

Why change from stock lettering? Im not baggin on your idea, but this is a porsche not a honda civic. (My opinion only).

I cant bag on your idea. I put an 911 turbo emblem on the right side of my rear deck lid.

How does it look to run the tail of the "S" under the 928? It looks tall enough to still line up with the tops of the numbers.

I had it that way in a pre-pic when planning but on the car it looked way too bunched-up

The 4 seems to be lined up with nothing. Have you tried lining up the bottom of the 4 with the bottom of the S? If you want the 4 to be lower than everything you could line up the bottom of the cross-stroke on the 4 with the bottom of the S.

Overall this looks to be a good modern rendition of the logo - something Porsche would have done by now.

By the way, you should check how Porsche dealt with these letters on the 911 Carrera 4S. In that case I think they lined up the top of the 4 with the top of the S (just going from my memory).

I'll work on it when i get home, thanks for your help. The 4ops of the letters/numbers should probably align, and then the 4 should be halfway down or so. I think I can get it right

Yes, but the 4 and S aligned make the 928 look woosy
