Good to know thank you, re new PPS = old COA. You can see how much I use these, and associate value to them.

C100 is a country code designation, starting with 100 which is factory use, 99 is direct delivery (factory pickup), and 98 and so on for other destinations.
Not sure what sheet you're referring to. Pls elaborate.

I see blue over white, white over blue. Clearly white over blue is not factory (didn't think it was when you sent pics via email last week).
So the real question is blue over white? More evidence needed.

Jim, The sheet I referred to was in Rob Edwards signature, not yours. Sorry for the confusion.

Random thought:

Another place to look to check original color would be inside the sunroof "hole". The area inside the roof where the sunroof goes when it opens.
Pull the interior panel off the sunroof and look inside that area.

rob, I asked and got this reply from PCNA
"The interior is listed on your PPS inaccurately. In 1977 911 interiors the code 73 is Lobster Leather, but I’ve confirmed using the build sheet for your vehicle that the interior should be Black Partial Leather/73. "
they were quite helpful, referenced a build sheet which would be nice to have!

Rob,
Sara at coa at porsche.us offered to help clear up any incorrect PPSs.

I had prior owner info in the glove box and was able to speak with the long time owners wife. The husband passed on ~10 yrs ago. According to her the car was always white, this goes back to 1990. The corrected COA and spokesman from PCNA says it was originally white, and they have no record of the blue paint.

Although it is tough to tell much, from pictures, I think that blue is too dark to be Hellblau Metallic. My paint shop just finished a 1980 Hellblau Metallic car that we are building a restorod out of. It's a very light blue.
