Default So, who does good interior restorations on 928's?

It is time I get serious about getting my wife's 928 up to snuff. The exterior has been completely redone and looks good, but the interior needs a complete redo. I have a set of 996/997 seats and a carpet set for the car, but it needs the dash, pod and console recovered, and basically needs a complete install.

Anyone have a decent recommendation? I'm no longer able to commit the time (nor body) to the effort so its going to be a checkbook exercise for me but I want it done right, not necessarily cheap.

I'll just be the first to recommend Rob Budd at http://classic9leathershop.com - I'm sure more will chime in (and I'll bet while I'm writing someone else is beating me to "first").

+2 for Rob Budd @ Classic9

He did the pod, dash, A-pillars, sun visors, center console, and glovebox in my Spyder.

I have bought many sets of carpet and more than a few leather pieces done by Rob Budd he is a skilled craftsman
and he knows the corners of the 928 and other Porsche models.
I think you will be happy with his work,

the 86.5 I recently picked up had a lot of work done by Rob. Basically everything inside aside from the seats which are original leather. Dash, Glove box, Center console, Carpet kit, Door panels...

If it's any affirmation of the quality of work, I just sent him the dash, door panels and seats for my 84 911. (getting brown leather and brown/tan Pasha)

I don't own a 928 - but I've had RBudd redo a bunch of my interior pieces in my 968 Cabriolet, and he has more left to do for me. Very, very satisfied. No affiliation.

So far, I've gotten the following from him for my 968:
- new set of leather seat covers
- console arm rest cover recovered in leather
- rear quarter panels recovered in leather
- rear storage cubby doors and center piece recovered in leather

Other pieces he is doing for me:
- rear seat backs
- shift boot
- parking brake
- door arm rests
- trim pieces around the front windshield
