So far, mostly superficial items on the checklist.
✓ Hatch shocks (Ordered 02-14) ✓
✓ Hood shocks (Ordered 02-14) ✓
Clock
Wheels refinished
✓ Dipstick (Ordered 02-14) ✓
Dash recovering? 3 cracks at the regular spots.(optional)
Front floor mats
Check and record crankshaft end play. Install new porken clamp. (Ritech maybe) (Ordered 02-14)
Check performance. car does not seem to perform up to my expectations. This may be normal for a stock 928. The only other auto 928 I have driven is my supercharged one)
Speedometer gear (Ordered 02-14)
estimate mileage by going back and finding the last time the mileage was lower than it is now. Then finding an average miles per year in previous years. And adding that to the current mileage. Just to record an estimated mileage. (Completed.)
Steering wheel restitching old leather or replace .
Passenger side door card insert needs holding tabs replaced
✓ Rear hatch insert. (Ordered 02-14) ✓
Find out what is causing the clunking sound during drive. Could very well just be the hatch.
Glue various leather and trim pieces and carpet as needed.
Replace interior lights with LEDs?
Install door arrestor passenger side won't stay open . (Ordered 02-14)
Organize documentation. Stack of invoices from PO dating back to 2003. (Completed)

Additions:
02-18-19 Hood Liner Needed

I'm pretty mad you got my Cassisrot! That should be in my stable. Looks good, keep up the nice work. Love the color combo.

dip stick, done.
Hood shocks, done.
Hatch shocks, done.
Hatch latch insert, done.
It's literally taken me longer to reply to this thread.

Mostly superficial work at this time. The car mechanically was cared for over the years as well.

One of the local PCA Club guys just got an S4 cassirot, just like yours. I haven't seen it in person yet. He had a couple of 928s "back in the day", and is happy to be getting back into one. He is a track guy - was my instructor for a Club DE a couple of years ago. Fastest person I ever rode with when he took me out during the instructor session with his vette. He told me he may try his new cassirot at the track (it's a roger box)
