Does tested mean serviced? Cleaned, re-capped, head aligned?

No just tested. The unit works perfect and looks like it has had minimal use. I used it for a few weeks rocking my old cassettes. I see no need to open it up.

Yes it connected to a BQA-80 amp from factory. But the unit has both DIN out and speaker outs so it could be used with or without. I do have an amp as well if someone wanted both. I would do $650 for the deck, amp, power harness and I also have the speaker connectors for the amp (got them from SW Stereo).

Good unit at a good price W/O refurb work.

Get it while you can..in a few years you wont be able to find these anymore <$1000 or $1500 as we get more and more valuable a -stock- museum pieces.

Good lord, the Reno was always an annoying radio in my Porsche. Would blank out audio randomly and the tape player always sounded off.....

If you want something close I'd recommend the Heidelberg SQR47. Same design as the Reno but of course it has shortwave as well. And with the DIN output it can hook up to the stock 928 amplifier.

Reno's are awesome, yours was obviously busted. LOL

And all Reno's have the DIN connector.

Not sure one broken one, paints them all in the same color.

Mine's just fine after a full R&R.

Oddly enough I had two and both experienced the dropout. It was as if the ARI function was trying to engage, extremely annoying. :-)
