Default The demise of 9288200143

Sadly this looks like the end of the road for this early 928. The long time owner had it at a well known shop for a total restoration but after years has tossed in the towel. So many parts are missing I can't imagine what it would take to put it back together.
Sad

Look at it from the "cup half full" point of view....it's already apart!

So sad. Still some good parts left for others in need, so there is a brightside.

Chassis might make a good track beast. For the guy who just has to have a 928 body style.

So that others may live! (And prosper). For each one that drops off, the remaining ones increase by some incremental amount in value.

I often wonder how many are left of the original 61,000.

62,000 Mark A. has disassembled ~1,000 last I knew. I'm guessing 2/3rds are still around and 1/3 can actually be driven.

I'm close on that, but I'd say of the 2/3 left, 2/3 can still be driven.
