Hi All

Is there a consensus out there on the best way to go on aftermarket remote controls for 928 door locks?

I was considering that upgrade on my 91' S4

You picked the right year for keyless entry. Easiest year (90+) to wire.

Any of them will be fine. I have a couple of no name versions scored from China.

I bought a 4 door setup off eBay when doing my build on my '79, which gave me 2 spare actuators for about $5 more than the 2 door kit.

Works perfectly.

I believe that Alan has remote door locks on his car. Hope for him to chime in on the advantages/disadvantages and any pitfalls.

Lots of threads on this, search is your friend. You can do locks and hatch without too much trouble, many options for systems (changes over time - but few compatibility problems regardless on late models). In a '91 this gets you good integration with the interior lights.
