Yes !!
Getting P2 with a 120hp deficit on P1 (3.8RSR replica) and 30hp deficit on P3 (993 Supercup) is crazy !

And the car makes such an awesome noise !
He's supposed to come to my shop so I can make him a better shifter

Okay !

I drove it on sunday !
I love it ! Even though there are still many stuff to do :
-Better shocks
-new steering wheel
-check if I find a new ps pump that is quieter
-do a new kick plate for the driver
-redo headlights covers
-Do the front lip support

then tune the engine !

Hi guys !

I finally completely moved the old shop to the new one !

I had to play counterweight to move the lift around.

The 928 is up !

I moved it to have as much space around it as possible !

I made a small presentation shelf for the parts I have to put on the car.

I took the chance to install the new sway bar endlinks.

En Alu plutôt qu'en acier, le gain de poids est pas énorme, mais tout est dans le détail

Soon to be available !

I had to make some pedal spacers because my seat is fixed in place.

Also made a heel plate, I will put some grip on it. It can also be used on a floor mat to protect it and look cool !

Perfect !

I also took the time to fit the lip properly, it was just fitted with two nuts and kind of hanging there... Now it won't go anywhere !

Scanned everything !

Why ?

Belly panel !

Race air dam and splitter

I designed new stalks ! Love them.

And a quick ducktail, I don't know how to fit it yet.

I found a guy to tune the car, just have to wait so I can have some money.

The new shop is wonderful ! So much time saved while assembling parts !

I got a new car !
We traded the Twingo... For a Fiat 500, 695 Abarth Competizione from 1970 !

I had to move the 928 again ! But it's so tiny they both fit and I still have room !

How cute ?

10"...

There is some work to be done.

Problem with those is that there are more replicas than originals, and they very difficult to certify.
This one is supposed to be a real Competizione. Engine isn't matching but it's built to SS specs...
The goal is to get it race ready and sell it.

It's supposed to make 70hp, I took it on a quick drive and there's no way... so I investigated... well, no way that thing opens the carb more than 10% ^^

There is a few more stuff to fix, clean, redo, and we'll sell it, hopefully for a good amount !

We won't track it, but we'll have fun around the shop with it for sure ^^

To wrap this post: work at Porsche is going good, I slowly let go my Technician position to be the used cars service team leader
I still work on cars, while others steal my phone to take selfies... ^^

This is looking great.
Ben, will you make a catalogue of parts manufactured or printed and available to other owners?

Yes of course, I sell through my website www.benautodesign.fr

Though as of now I haven't tested 928 parts enough to sell them

What happened in two months ?

Got some Sport Cup 2s

I had to replace the rear spacer from 20 to 16mm to make room for the tires. The new ones were touching the inner fender.

I had an appointment to tune the car... until I realized that I didn't have any passenger seat !

I installed my 964 supercup seat.

And the extinguisher !

We took it around the block one night ! Had tons of fun ! It's well balanced and easy to drive, with an intoxicating sound !

Two problems...
-The clutch doesn't release properly.
-It's overheating.

The clutch seems free to move, I bled it...

Still not working. Maybe one of the clutch disc is seized on the shaft or the pilot bearing ? I'll try to check asap.

I replaced the steering wheel with a round one, I like it better !

I put the brake ducts back on.

For the cooling... one of the coolant hose was leaking. So I replaced it, I don't know if I fixed it... we'll see next Sunday.

I started the livery

But I still can't seem to put a correct sticker on the right side of a car...

I reinforced the windows, and installed the sliding door. Haven't made the hole yet ^^

Now it looks like a racecar !

Next step, underbody panel.

Haven't taken a photo on the final install...

For the rear, useless, so mendatory !

That was just a quick thing to see how it looks.

V2 will follow the contour of the car better.

For parts...
I fitted the new version of the 944 shifter

I did modify a few things again, but I can't reduce the throw enough on the m
Top, j'ai encore modifier quelques trucs dessus.

Il me reste encore quelques problèmes à régler dessus. Mais j'adore !

Et pour finir, les petites pièces d'habitacle pour 928 qui vont bien.

Celle ci son logoté Nardone, mais je les vendrais vierge.

Voilà voilà !

I did modify a few things again, but I can't reduce the throw enough on the main lever... because the tube touches the chassis.
I'll have to develop the part that fits on the gearbox side to reduce the throw to my liking.

I did a new version of the 928 stalk. I like this design better !

I still have some stuff to figure out for them.

And lastly, some nice interior touches for 928.

These were made for Nardone, the ones I'll sell will be blank.

Voilà voilà !
