Default Barrett-Jackson 928 Sale

At our AZ 928 Owner's dinner last night (great time for all) I heard that an '85 A/T 928 sold for $20K at the Barrett-Jackson auction. I've seen this car, it is a red/black car and won our AZ region Concouse 2 years ago. The owner even pulled the transaxle to clean it and the undercarrage.

Nimrod!!! here I thought I was the only one who used that word. My next favorite word is Dimwit.

And how about the '55 Nomad that went for more than $140k.

Definitely a Chevy sellers auction.

Don't hate the car because they are worth more that any of ours. Consider the limited production numbers of the COPO Camaro.
The pure nostalgia of a NOMAD

I emailed them and havnt got a answer back on what it went for yet. From what I also understand they have one more auction tomarrow so it might not have went up yet.

Joe, no hate here........ Don't know how you interpreted my post. Just a simple statement of fact of the Nomad selling for big $$. Most Chevy's brought good money as you note.

How about the '67 Shelby Cobra that went for $260k.

A great example of free market... Supply/demand

it sold for 21,600.00 BTW, it was not a 86.5 it was serial 0721

In 1995, the 86.5 928 featured in Road and Track (red one, I think) sold at B-J for 21,000. remember that was in 1995!
